a little something for little you

 i babysat a friends kids one time
and her eldest son was having trouble at school
and he talked to me about it

i told him this

want to know why?

because the bully feels big and powerful when he is mean
but late at night he cries inside because he does not have
the beautiful family you do, the safe cosy home,
the luxury of a wealth of love, or perhaps simply good looks or smarts or skills.

the bully does things to put you down and this makes him feel up, for a little while,
but later, he goes down, he pays in ways that he does not fully realize all the time.

so if you ever feel bullied
just know that
the bully never wins
