happy new years

ok so i realized when in the process of holiday mode thoughts that the earths cycles are largely
out of our control, and to try to control them only shows the faulty character of oneself..i once read a novel titled something along the lines of 'floating house' home.. something like that..
and this fiction children's story is a bit about the speed of conflict picking up when it is almost over.
it seems that the closer we get to mass destruction of whatever kind, but not the end of the world,
the faster we run around, the more we have to stress about, the more we have to do, and the more
emotional conflict we have both on the family, community, state, national, international, and global stages.

it seems to me like the world is riding around on a merry go round and some people are standing around watching
thinking "OH SHITAKI MUSHROOMS that merry go round is GOINg to CRASHHHHH, it's going tOOO FASST"
the rest of the people ride the merry go round happily thinking there's no problem...
i keep saying this, some people do not wish to face the facts, this is understandable, because facing
anything takes guts.
it's difficult to understand that anything could be going wrong when we still have running water in our taps, still
have running electricity in our wires, and still have readily available gas and petroleum products for everyday usage,
it is as if until the world just STOPS WORKING people can't get their head around how much they are wasting.
i do concede australians have been improving the usage of water impressively in the past 5 years, and yet whatever
happened to the percentage decrease in green house gases.. did that dissappear down the deep dark hole called
'all talk no action'. . remember a roaring lion kills no game. (:

it feels as if there's some freshly sourced radiation in the air lately, of course it is the arrival of the new year 2011.
it feels clean, and simply fresh.
i personally don't indulge myself with 'new years resolutions' but i do enjoy considering the actions of the year passed,
and reflecting on what i could change for the year to come, what i cold do better, or improve upon as a long time project.
its not really a resolution, its just a general overall reflection on improvements and past actions or regrets and letting go of the old to allow the new in.

this is a beautiful time, so sweet and new...

i hope every being alive enjoys this time
and takes a little time out to bathe themselves in it
all the best in every way :)
Britta
ps. i'm BURSTING TO THE BRIM with.... i'm not quite sure how to describe it
groovy vibes perhaps? ;)
anyway don't forget to have fun,
just cause you feel 'old' that does not imply
that you can't have fun also, how about
doing something that makes you feel alive and young?
within reason of course :)

pps. again all the best :)
