TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:
1. its nearly a week away from the full
moon, meaning many mothers, teachers, sisters, cousins, daughters,
wives, grandmothers, will get cranky, impatient and easily irritated.
however also more emotional.
yet men don't escape. they THINK they
do. but no. men also have hormonal levels going up and down, sometimes
they're more biologically wired to ... lets put this straight... desire
sex [interesting that it coincides with the time just before the full
moon when many women get their period].
so many many get emotional and easily irritated/impatient during this time too.
this inCLUDES ME, as a human person.
2. Julia Gillard has red hair, i have red hair. clearly we're twins.
clearly.
i respect julia gillard more because she is an expert in her field.
i trust that she has sound judgement and acts maturely/wisely when approaching different situations.
i also listen to christina aguilera's song can't hold us down, which is very immature, but it gets a point across.
that name calling, and rumour spreading is very immature for an adult.
whoever did spread the rumour [front page The Age- new B-word for Gillard], i'm honestly not saying names, it could
be
anybody against gillard, whoever it was is quite immature, just like me
putting this song up here for people 2 look up on google.
creating conflict works against finding something whole and without argument.
some common ground.
some common understanding.
working
hard in the field, on site, like the australian way, like Gillard did
when she went to Afghanistan.towards a common cause.
a problem is no one persons.
every problem is surrounded by 20 people involved, 20 people to blame, 20 people influencing what happens.
you can NEVER blame EVERYTHING on ONE person.sorry.
its impossible.
In response to today’s editorial in The Age newspaper.
Wow. Awesome article. Really eye-opening.
The police in this country....
Just yesterday in media class we were discussing the comparison between cops on Law and Order SVU and Life On Mars.
The former is a modern TV show based in post-2001 era, i.e. after the 9/11 attacks.
The latter is based in the 70s and the police force go through their work completely differently.
There’s
more violence and intimidation when criminals go in for questioning, or
interrogation depending on how serious the suspicion is.
I can
give you the extreme example and ask are we becoming like Guantanamo
Bay, putting bags over people’s heads, chaining them to the ground for
long periods of time and possibly starving people.
Are we going
medieval and putting people in cages with spikes sticking into the skin
to cause maximum pain to those who do wrong?
I can tell you we
don’t do that. But we do use tasers, and that’s ok because they’re not
lethal. YIPPEE, we can taser them over and over because they can’t die.
It reminds me of a little kid killing ants and tearing their wings apart simply because it’s funny.
What you believe that’s right? As a policeman?
Well
I can understand that you as a policeman may have seen some truly,
truly gruesome things. Some awfully horrible, nightmare-inducing things.
You
may have seen some kids attacked and hacked up, and dug down into the
ground. You may have seen some woman beaten half to death, you may have
seen children wielding knives and guns in petrol stations, yes i
understand that you roll in the mud of society.
But just because
you have a family to protect, just because you may get vindictive, or
build up a need for revenge, does not mean you have the right to inflict
pain on another human body, simply because you believe they did wrong.
Because
your grandfather was in a war against the Vietnamese, or the Russians,
or the Japanese, or Africans, or the English, or Scottish, or Croatians,
or Serbians, maybe even because your uncle died in the war because some
‘bloody ching killed him’.
Well I would like to ask you, have you ever stopped to put yourself onto the other side.
Can
you imagine your wife dying mysteriously, in the same bed as you, with
no other witnesses around, and all of a sudden YOU are behind the
interrogation forces, YOU are being accused, and if your wife dies
GRUESOMELY, well then YOU are being accused of MURDER.
You are being called a monster. How could you possibly do that to your own wife?
Lets bend this example, how could you possibly rape your own child?
How could you possibly attempt to blow yourself up around women and children?
You are being called an evil terrorist for fighting the Afghanis, simply because you don’t follow the rules of war.
Terrorism is a society of religious people desperately fighting to keep their culture alive.
They do it in the undercover sneaky ‘naughty student’ way.
I once thought of an example.
The school classroom teacher telling off the talkative, rude, student, with an attitude.
The student is the terrorist, and the teacher is the government.
The student cannot understand why the teacher won’t let them speak [freedom of belief, and to protest]
Whilst
the teacher can’t understand why the student disrupts the classroom,
stopping the rest of the students from learning about the world and
life.
Now that puts things into perspective a little.
The
terrorists have a culture to hold onto. They may be against modernity,
but we don’t go into the Amish villages and bomb them.
By the way,
all the experts out there, i’m embarrassed to write about things like
this, when you probably are far more aware about all of these kinds of
things, as you’ve been educated on specifics.
But i’m just trying to help people in our society understand that ‘the bad people’ have reasons for being bad.
They
have a history, a life, that decides the way they act. They have
millions of possibly terrible memories to remind them constantly of what
they hate, who they hate, and why they hate.
There IS
actually a reason for why people turn bad. It’s not wanton distruction.
The reason is simply invisible to you, just like that ‘sneaky leopard’
called consequences.
How do you not know, that the person you are
terrorising in a jail cell, has not been the victim of an extremely
violent and terrifying crime lord, or war-crime lord.
I mean, even
the people closest to Hitler did get mentally affected for life by his
manipulation of their actions. You can’t say that, oh he was mates with
pol pott, or hitler, or the schoolyard bully, therefore, he must be
EXACTLY like him. He must have EXACTLY like him. He does not have a
SINGLE GOOD BONE IN HIS BODY. There is NOTHING LEFT, NO SPIRIT LEFT, for
him to survive, and help his family grow beautifully.
I
have said before, and I will say it again, racism and judgement is not
the way to go, when dealing with criminals. If you’re going to bash the
person over the head, well clearly they’re going to get out of jail and
bash somebody else’s head in.
It’s called passing YOUr problem
ON. Please, don’t do it. You think I’m naive, i know it. You think I
don’t understand. But I Will Never Give Up on the Potential for Human
Kind to Get Better, from this Sickness we have. This thing called
Negative Judgement. Unreasonable, unverified, and possibly Vindictive
JUDGEMENT. GET REAL. Open your EYES. Don’t judge a person’s behaviour on
the way they act. Judge it on the life they‘ve had. Because if you
judge them by your first impression, you are VERy Much judging a Book
By Its Cover.
